You will report directly to WZL’s Edmonton headquarters.

This is not a field role. We are looking for someone who knows who to call, knows what matters to those people, and can have the right conversation to get WZL on the approved vendor list and keep us there.

If you are a Manual Machinist, Machinist, Machine Operator, CNC Operator with experience in the field and want to showcase your talent and be a team player within the Basin organization with room for growth, we are looking for you!

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will:

  • Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and mills

  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Set up, program and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.

We are seeking an exceptional CNC Programmer/Operator to join our established Mill-Turn team at our south Edmonton facility. If you possess a versatile skillset in Lathe and/or 3, 4, 5-axis Mill programming and have a strong sense of pride and dedication to your work, we would love to hear from you.

Who you are:

  • A quick learner who can effectively implement job knowledge.

  • You are passionate about your work and take pride in delivering high-quality results.
