The Wenzel test stand captures torque, RPM, pressure and flow simultaneously, allowing users to evaluate motor performance under controlled conditions. At the heart of the installation is a 700 HP Caterpillar C18 diesel engine with approximately 5,500 operating hours, driving a KAMAT 55140 triplex pump through a ZF AS Tronic transmission. The engine is housed in a heated and insulated custom-built enclosure.

The test system also incorporates an NOV Log Master II computer system and HMI touchscreen, a 60,000 lb-ft water-cooled brake system, high-accuracy load cell, hydraulic centering clamp and hydraulic tool supports. Wenzel also has original operating and service documentation for major components, as well as detailed National Oilwell Varco testing-bench computer and electronics drawings.

Key operating capabilities include 2,100 psi maximum pressure, 716 GPM maximum flow and 30,000 lb-ft maximum motor torque. The system accommodates tools from approximately 3.5 in. to 11 in. OD, with clean and dirty fluid tanks incorporated into the installation.
